Train more effectively and improve your baseball swing with the cutting-edge bat sensor technology used by numerous MLB teams. The Blast Baseball Swing Analyzer or Personal Swing Trainer allows you to attach it to any standard bat, and your iPad or iPhone will take care of the rest. Use the Blast Baseball app to record video of your swings and benefit from the patented Smart Video Capture technology that automatically identifies your swings, clips your video, and overlays your swing metrics at impact. You can view and analyze your swing path instantly with the 3D Swing Tracer feature. The app also provides real-time feedback in Live mode, allowing you to make adjustments and see the outcomes of your changes. Additionally, you can compare your swing videos side by side or send them to a coach for further analysis.
If you have a Personal Swing Trainer, you can get started with the Blast solution. This player-exclusive experience focuses on improving swing speed and swing path through a simplified approach.
Players and coaches with a Swing Analyzer and a Blast Connect or Premium Services account can take advantage of the app's advanced functionality to assess every swing for swing quality. The app provides insights in three areas crucial to great hitters: plane, connection, and rotation. These insights simplify the evaluation process for coaches regarding recruitment and player development, offering recommendations and drills for improvement. Coaches can also provide feedback more efficiently through Mobile Video Analysis, which includes voice-over recording and video markup tools.
The Ball Flight analysis feature offers many key features of a professional launch monitor without the high cost. You can use it anywhere with just your iPhone or iPad. The app auto-clips and analyzes real-time video to provide launch angle, ball speed exit velocity, estimated distance, as well as ball flight spray charts and session reports. Combined with the Blast Baseball Swing Analyzer, you gain a complete view of your swing through both pre-impact swing analysis and post-impact ball flight results. This enables you to understand the relationship between cause and effect, enhancing your training. Pre- and post-impact insights, along with recommendations and drills for improvement, are also available.
The Blast Baseball Swing Analyzer and Personal Swing Trainer are highly accurate, advanced 3D motion capture systems that record your swings. They utilize Bluetooth Smart technology to connect to your iPhone or iPad. These devices can detect when to activate the patented motion detection algorithms in real-time without altering your natural swing. They even store data when your mobile device is out of range and automatically sync it to the Blast app once reconnected.
With the Blast Baseball app, coaches, parents, and players of all ages can gain valuable insights to enhance their swings and gain a competitive edge.
Note: The Blast Baseball app requires the Blast Baseball Swing Analyzer or Personal Swing Trainer and the Blast bat attachment to collect data. The app currently supports English language and Imperial measurements.
